How Monisa came about

It went something like this:

 Monisa has always been a cautious woman.  Right!  But she never thought that she would have her life based on a movie.

 It all started in, more or less, April 2005. Monisa was not yet Monisa, but she was young, beautiful and fearless.  I would say ready to get in some trouble.  *laughs*

 Monisa was invited to visit a different church, by a Japanese friend (Akina).  And it was really quite different!

 Monisa met, observed and soon became involved with the people involved in the event of the church and in the preaching of that church.  And she liked to understand that she could question the Bible.  She found there the reasoning that culminated so much in her mind.  She was liberating!

 For a while there, attending the church, the “pastor” asked to speak to Monisa.

 He said: - I liked your way and your knowledge too much!

 Quiet monisa!

 Him: - You speak English well, right ?!

 - weeell

 - How do you say this, this, that and that other in English?

 Monisa replied!

 He:

 - Come here a little, I need a little help from you.

 And in front of a crowded room he says:

 - Good evening everyone, this is my friend (future Monisa, who I will put in big trouble, cofcof), and she will translate into English everything I say.  Now everyone will be able to understand (foreigners).

 Shame?  Despair?  Run or not run?

 And there was a future Monisa with the ‘face on the floor’.  And the countenance must have been of anguish.

 Well ...

 And from that day Monisa became her right-hand man.

 Not long after, with a lot of support, a lot of confidence and recognition, another serious conversation came.

 Before future Monisa already thought: Here comes trouble!

 Thiago Machado declares himself Ax James, a savior of Japan. Fighter of all the evil in the country done by foreigners.

 And he explains his whole secret life.

 And he has more!  He even calls future Monisa to help.

 He invites Monisa to come on the scene.

 Well two ...

 Thiago had worked for years for the Japanese police and for international intelligence.  He was more than fluent in Japanese (I lost count of how many times had passed the 'Japanese Proficiency Test - ikkyu - the staggering test), worked at the highest level within the criminal investigation, and had credentials and the ability to assemble his own  business in the area.  And we open!  3 businesses: a detective agency, an MMA academy (for those who don't know Monisa married a black belt) and an agency to train investigators.

 But this is a subject for another post!

 In short, he got in touch with some important people and made a meeting with the security secretary of Japan. He indicated me (but he also indicated Monisa's husband and brother-in-law - who even got to work a little - but it is also a subject for another post)  , and obtained authorization to accredit us.

 There we went!

 Axe already helped to arrest Japanese and foreign criminals.  He was the one who sat next to foreign criminals translating everything they said to the Japanese police.  But when I came in, a few things changed.  Interpol came in accrediting us as well.

 And then our work was more focused on investigating and going after foreign criminals within Japan, and especially Brazilians.  The Japanese have too much difficulty in speaking Portuguese, and when they learn they still have a heavy accent.  And it's not for less, right ?!

 Imagine if they infiltrated the investigations and managed to pass themselves off as Brazilians ?!  You're welcome!

 And that's when it all started ...

 Monisa appeared!
